Rent Your Home for Sundance
Hand us the logistics and the reset. Return home to everything in its place.
The festival arrives in Boulder County January 21 to 31, 2027. We prepare your home for guests, protect what matters most, and put every item back when it ends.
Square One makes it possible.
By preparing your home for guests and restoring it afterward creates an opportunity for you to say yes with confidence.
Before the festival, we sort and quietly set aside the personal, protect your valuables and heirlooms with a written inventory, and present your home so it welcomes a guest. After the festival, we handle the reset, returning every item to its place.
Our Team makes sure that the day you walk back into your home, it feels like yours again, not like the experience cost you something.
Where do the family photographs go? Who packs the heirlooms, the papers in the study, the things no insurance policy can replace? And when the festival ends, who puts it all back?
That hesitation is reasonable. It is also exactly what Square One does.
The Sundance Film Festival is coming to Boulder County, and it brings a crowd the area cannot house. Tens of thousands of visitors will need somewhere to stay, and hotels can hold only a fraction of them. Homeowners in Boulder, Superior, Louisville, Lafayette, and the surrounding towns have exactly what festival guests want most: a whole home, a short drive from the screens.
Renting your home for those eleven days can bring in real income. And if you have lived in your home for decades, you already know the part that gives you pause. It is not the money. It is the life inside the house.
Meaning to declutter anyway?
Many homeowners tell us the festival is the push they had been waiting for. If you have been meaning to declutter anyway, we work shoulder to shoulder with you, one decision at a time, at your pace. You choose what stays, what goes, and what finds a new home.
The rental is the occasion. The lasting gift is a home with more peace and purpose in it, long after the festival guests are gone.

What it costs.
No two homes hold the same life. Yours has its own floor plan, its own precious possessions, its own history, so Square One would never price it from a chart. Everything begins with a complimentary in-home, one-hour consultation. From there, you receive a proposal shaped to your home and desires, with clear and honest pricing, a good faith estimate, and a flat fee set in writing.
Who cares for your home?
Square One Move Organizers is an A+ Accredited, Certified Senior Move Manager® practice, insured and trained through NASMM, the National Association of Senior and Specialty Move Managers, and guided by its Statement of Ethics. Caring for a lifetime of belongings with discretion is our daily work, and it is why homeowners across Boulder County and the Denver metro trust us with theirs.
The parts we leave to the rental professionals.
We prepare and restore the home. The listing, the pricing, the guests, and the rental licensing stay with you or your rental manager. Each town sets its own path for the festival: Superior, Boulder, Louisville, and Lafayette each license short-term rentals in their own way, with their own rules and dates. If you do not yet have a rental manager, we are glad to point you to people we trust.
When to begin.
The festival is in January, and the best-prepared homes are already starting. The City of Boulder suggests giving yourself up to six months to prepare and list a home well, so the quiet work is best begun now. The consultation is free, the conversation is unhurried, and the decision stays yours.

No. We prepare your home before the festival and restore it afterward. The listing, pricing, guest management, and licensing stay with you or your rental manager. If you do not have one yet, we are glad to point you to people we trust.
-
We protect them with a written inventory and secure them in a locked space in your home, or in off-site storage with a photo inventory if you choose White Glove. Nothing leaves your home without your say-so.
-
Renting the whole home means staying elsewhere for the festival window. Many owners visit family or take a trip they have been putting off. With White Glove, we stay in communication with you throughout the rental.
-
Under IRS Section 280A(g), sometimes called the Augusta Rule, renting a primary home for fourteen days or fewer in a year can make that income free of federal tax, and the festival window fits inside that limit. We are move organizers, not tax advisors, so please confirm the details with yours.
-
Every homeowner receives an individualized proposal. The consultation is free, and you receive clear, transparent pricing with a good faith estimate and a flat fee in writing, sized to your home. A deep clean and any storage pass through at cost.
